A reflection on what is yours truly.

Starting fresh sounds exciting. And it is. But the degree to which new can enter your life vastly depends on your readiness to let go. But we all know this, right?

What we fail to recognize is how it actually feels to sit in the vastness of the world’s and your own emptiness. It feels like drowning. How can you let go of all the impulsive autonomous grasps for your life? You nee it. You need it NOW! End of story.

Do you?

What scares you most that you had given away your will to choose something different?

Can you forgive yourself?

And soften?

You can let go of the judgmental tone you might’ve been reading this now.

Is that even yours? Or does it sound like someone on the outside?

Perhaps another something familiar.

Giving yourself a permission to let go. Establishing a new tone.

Loving. Gracious. Kind.

Still feel the urge to text a friend, grab a drink, fill internal world with another substitute of love? Are those truly your only options?

Perhaps simply…familiar?

A spur purchase, TV binging, a new tattoo, hot yoga. How many layers of sweat can you dispose? Is that your only shot at rebirth?

Jogging in loops, regardless of the latest research, is not the healthiest option.

Keeps you complacent. Is that really safest option?

That kind of stillness, which feels like there are no options – no air out, no in. Frozen. Paralyzed. Diluted in fear.

There’s so much baggage. The big unprocessed. Stuffed into shadow. So far and near.

The challenge hidden in the familiar.

It is so easy to get comfortable in the stuck state.

In life the faster you go – the further you might be trying to shut behind the closed door whatever scares or brings you pain. We fail to recognize the fruits of our own shadow. And regardless of how fast you have been running, how much noise had created, pain had channeled into keeping your own shadow behind the closed door.

It might not show in the moment. Or in the glimpses of darkness. Distracted by deeply threaded paths of daily self-abandonment and betrayal. You can not destroy your connection with forever yours, effortlessly fallen onto the ground shadow.

And that is such a blessing. Reconnecting into the whole.

You can not destroy your connection
with truly yours, effortlessly fallen onto the ground shadow.
There is no other part that loves and needs you more.
Little reflection willing to take the bait for you in crippling silence.

You can let go any moment.

Just

decide.
